Our Health &
Wellbeing Services
We’re here to support your health, your family, and your community with services designed to meet the real needs of Mornington Island mob.
Our care is culturally safe, community-controlled and grounded in local knowledge. Whether you are here for a check-up, a yarn or family support – you are in the right place
NACCHS currently delivers a range of essential services for the Mornington Island community as we prepare to assume full responsibility for primary health care in July 2026. These services are already in place, and we’re working closely with community and partners to ensure a smooth, respectful and strong transition. Services include:
Social & Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) support
Confidential, culturally safe support for mental, emotional and spiritual health. Come in for a yarn, speak with a support worker, or join one of our wellbeing groups.
Health Promotion & Community Programs
Regular programs and workshops on chronic condition support, healthy eating, smoking cessation, health information for women and men, and more — all designed by and for our mob.
Advocacy & Community Health Guidance
Supporting local families to navigate the health system and access the care they need.
Partnership Coordination
Working with services like the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) to connect community members with visiting care.
